Sorry I cant be there for the family at this time, however I have been thinking of you all a lot over the past few months. Derek I am glad I got to spend nearly 20 years of my life with you in it. You were not always the easiest person to get along with, and were affectionately called grumpy granddad by my girls. I like this photo I am about to post as you are smiling, and this is how I remember you after work sitting in your chair by the fire with a cup of tea and a fag(not always smiling lol).
